I don't even know what the hell this means anymore.

Is my cock Recon?

Is sucking it Recon?

Is this anti-Recon sentiment coming from a Recon himself, or is it only directed at the Recons who make Recons like me look bad?

Or do i just really need to get me cock sucked and am encouraging it by telling the prospective cock-sucker that it's Recon to suck cock?

THIS IS WHAT STAYING UP PAST MY BED-TIME TO RE-WRITE MYTHOS IN MY OWN WORDS DOES TO ME!!!! HELLLP!!! I CAN'T BE STOPPED!!!

That I have!

I rented it mainly for two reasons: 1) at the time, a friend of mine (whom I've since just fell out of touch with) worked for the Penthouse on-line department, and they once made an LJ-entry (which I now can't find) detailing how much Penthouse lost on that film and how they're pretty much trying to forget it; and 2) when my friend mentioned that Gore Vidal requested his name be removed from the film (he wrote the original screenplay which, by the time Penthouse got a hold of it and started filming, looked nothing like Vidal's original -- the original screenplay was then adapted as the novel Gore Vidal's Caligula by William Howard) and to this day refuses to acknowledge it, well, I just had to see it on principle then.

I actually saw mine fairly recently with my friend and the other half-
They wanted to see it based on the stories i had always heard about it-

honestly besdies the campiness-i actually like the film-

but i think more people should see it-i mean even today some of those scenes are pretty shocking!

Oh, I like it, too, but in the same way that I like old John Waters' films — Pink Flamingos, Desperate Living, etc...

Except where John Waters is intentionally campy and over-the-top, there's this air of seriousness about Caligula that puts it in the same category as Mommy Dearest, where you can just tell, somewhere in there, somebody thought this was going to be Guicone's Citizen Kane.

Well, considering that thousands of years ago, Greeks and Romans typically didn't circumcise (though there's evidence that at least some Egyptians did), altering the cock to "look recon" seems almost oxymoronic. :-D LOL
